The Dispatch, and the app that feeds its map.

The Dispatch reads the same stories, live map and Show this website already publishes. Nothing is written twice. Sign-in is optional, only needed to manage a subscription.

Crime and fire have no live public feed in Toronto, so Dispatch Live exists to close that gap: point a phone at the scene, go live, and become a real pin on the map. Newsroom pickup pays the person who filmed it. View counts are hidden on purpose.
